A Merry Marnel Christmas!

We have had an amazing last week of term with lots of exciting activities. Have a look at the class pages to find out what your child's class have been up to!

Monday we were pleased to welcome a Chinook from RAF Odiham.

Tuesday and Wednesday saw our last performances of the Innkeeper's Breakfast - thank you for all the positive feedback we have received. The children were amazing and I am very proud of them all. Thank you all too for your donations for our Kenyan partner school - we raised an amazing £500.00 - we will be learning and sharing more about the school in the New Year.

Thursday we had our whole school Christmas Picnic. We all sat together in the hall and enjoyed listening to the Christmas music and eating with our party hats on! In the afternoon we followed the tinsel trail around the school grounds and guess who we found...Father Christmas was sleeping in his workshop!

Friday morning we joined together for our end of term assembly - we talked about children around the world who weren't as lucky as us. Miss Furniss had bought presents for each year group including, educational resources for a school, chickens, and clean water. She also gave a further £50 for our Kenyan school which brought our total up to £550. We all learnt about how giving can be as good as receiving - thank you Miss Furniss!

If you look in the children's section under 'Gallery' you will find photographs of all of these events.

May I take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry and Peaceful Christmas and New Year.

With Kind Regards

Miss Susan Cox
