Uniform
Red cardigan/ jumper - These do not need to have the school logo and can be purchased from any local larger supermarket.
Logo cardigans/ jumpers can be purchased from Skoolkit
White shirt/ polo shirt - These do not need to have the school logo and can be purchased from any local larger supermarket.
Logo polo shirts can be purchased from Skoolkit
Dark grey/ black trousers/skirts/pinafore dress - compulsory. These can be purchased from most larger supermarkets or Skoolkit.
Grey or white socks/tights preferred.
Summer dress/grey summer shorts are mainly worn in the Summer term. However, they can be worn outside of this term if the weather indicates cooler clothing. These can be purchased from most larger supermarkets or Skoolkit
School book bag - A free book bag will be given to your child when they first enrol at Marnel Infant School, further bags can be purchased from the school office.
PE Kit - They will need black shorts a white t shirt.
IMPORTANT: All items of school uniform (including book bag, lunch bag and water bottles) should be clearly labelled with your child's name.
Pre-loved Uniform
We are delighted to tell you about the ‘Preloved school uniform shop’ that is now open. We have a wide range of school uniform items including jumpers, t-shirts, trousers, skirts and dresses in all sizes available for you to purchase via the Scopay payment system. All these items are good quality seconds which we hope will enable you to keep costs down when purchasing new items. Please see the attached price list for more details.
To order you will need a SCOPAY account which some of you will already have if you have previously paid for breakfast or after school club or purchased raffle tickets. If you do not have a SCOPAY account and would like one, then please e-mail adminoffice@marnel-inf.hants.sch.uk. Once you have logged in you will see a ‘products’ tab which will have a list of all the items available to purchase. You can add and pay for the items you would like. Orders received by Friday will be sent out with your child at the end of the day on Tuesday of the following week.

Attendance
Request Leave of Abscence
Should you wish to request leave of absence in exceptional circumstances for your child, please complete the form below and return to the school office. Please note, we are unable to authorise absence requests for holidays or any occasion other than in exceptional circumstances.
Compulsory School Hours:
Classroom doors will open at 8.30am for the arrival of children and school starts at 8.40am. School finishes at 3.10pm.

From September 2024, the initial fine will increase to £80, going up to £160 if they fail to pay within 21 days.
School Lunches
Our School meals are provided by PS Catering Management Ltd and their onsite team.
Meals are cooked fresh every day in our kitchen using the best possible fresh and local ingredients sourced from reputable suppliers.
Through training and support for our on-site team we aim to deliver the best school lunches to your children every day.
