Fundraising opportunities
This week we will be collecting food for the Basingstoke Food Bank as part of our Harvest Festival celebrations. Each year we invite children and families, if you are able to, to donate food for this well used local cause. Our School Councillors will be waiting to collect your donations on Friday 3rd October and bring them into the hall before packing them up for collection. They will also be delivering an assembly to the rest of the school to share why these donations are so important to our local community.
The food bank currently have the following items on their shopping list: UHT milk, tinned curry, tinned, chilli, tinned pies, tinned hot dogs, tinned meat, tinned vegetables, tinned fruit, tinned spaghetti, tinned soup, crisps and snacks, angel delight, jelly, sweat treats, custard and coffee.
