Ladybird Class 2021-2022
Welcome to Ladybird Class.
On this page you will be able to find out what we have been doing in school. This half term our stimulus for learning is “Journeys”. We will be exploring lots of books about journeys such as The train ride, the Gruffalo and The Way Back Home. We will be doing lots of activities related to these. We are very excited to go on a school trip to the Watercress Line.
We will have P.E. on a Tuesday afternoon, Forest School on a Wednesday afternoon and will visit the library on Tuesday.
We also do our weekly show and tell on a Friday, please upload something that your child would like to share onto Tapestry.
Lots of outer space beings turned up at our Moon Party.
In Ladybird Class we had great fun experimenting with water and tubes.
Exploring the woods is one of our favourite things to do.
We had an amazing time exploring the Watercress Line.
During discovery time we built our own train.

We celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and we loved being able to have our parents into school to celebrate too.
For Under The Sea Day we came to school dressed as something to do with the ocean.

We have been busy junk modelling this week to make things from our favourite fairy tales.

Ladybird Class have been working very hard to recognise our key words.
Ladybird Class have worked very hard this week in maths identifying which group had more or less. We then challenged ourselves to identify which number was more or less.
Ladybirds loved exploring the outdoors in Forest School.
We've had great fun in Ladybird Class exploring all of the outside areas.
Ladybirds have really enjoyed playing with the home corner toys.
