  On behalf of all the staff a Marnel Infant School I want to say a huge 'thank you' for all the lovely cards and gifts we received at the end of the school year. As always we are humbled by your generosity. May I also take this opportunity to thank you for the returned report slips; we had well over 100 returned all of which carried your kind words of support for the work we do as a school and your pride at all your children have achieved. Our Year Twos did us all proud during their leavers' assembly (photographs of our balloon release are on the front page of the website). I wish you all a fantastic Summer holiday and I look forward to welcoming you back with two new classrooms, a new reception area, community room and offices...

• School returns Monday 5th September for Years 1 and 2

  We look forward to welcoming back all our Year 1 and Year 2 pupils on Monday 5th September. Year R will be visiting the Unit on Friday 9th and then start full time on the 12th September. Have a lovely summer break!
