  We will be welcoming Petr Horacek author of Puffin Peter and The Lonely Penguin on Friday 1st March. As well as working with the children throughout the day, there will also be an opportunity to buy signed copies of his book in the school hall at the end of the day. 

   

• World Book Day Thursday 28th February

  On Thursday 28th February we will be celebrating World Book Day and invite your child to come to school dressed up as a character from one of their favourite books. It would be fantastic if the children could also bring in their book to share with the other children in their class. 

• Monday 4th February school open at normal time. Please stay on gritted paths and go carefully :-)

  School is open at normal time. We checked the site yesterday and again this morning and because the snow was cleared on Friday the pathways are clear but please stick to the pathways and take extra care, Best wishes, Miss Cox

  The children and the staff at Marnel Infant School have been out enjoying the snow :-) We are now back inside the warm carrying out snow based activities. 

• School open for parents who wish to send their children in Friday 1st February

  We have managed to get enough staff into school to open today for parents wishing to send their children in. Please send in a spare change of clothes so your children can play in the snow if they won't be made to go outside if they don't want to. We have lots of activities planned. Breakfast club open as normal but no after school club. Thank you for your support. Stay safe :-)
