This half term our topic is Journeys. We will be reading different stories about journeys such as We're going on a Bear Hunt , The Train Ride and Q-Pootle 5. We are very excited to go on the train on the Watercress Line. Come back soon to see what we have been up to.

Science Day
Today we started our first week back at school with Science Day with Reading University. We had lots of fun doing lots of different experiments. We made shaky water and oil bottles , tried to make the witch fly across the board using magnets and explored magnets. We thought about how to make the ping pong balls move and talked about why they moved using different resources. We also shook some chemicals (with our teacher :-) ) to see what happened when they mixed together. We were so surprised to see them change colour! We also enjoyed talking about how to get the frozen pig out of the ice and had lots of brilliant ideas. Come and look at what we got up too.....
