We hope you enjoy looking at our page as much as we have enjoyed the activities we have been doing.

Happy New Year, this week we have been learning about Cinderella.

The children were amazing in our Nativity, The Innkeepers Breakfast. They worked so hard learning songs, lines and when to come on and off the stage. They were all little stars!

We have had a wonderful start to this half term enjoying ’Arts’ week. The children have been absorbed in the theme “express yourself” and thoroughly enjoyed dance, music and art all week.

The children loved our dance workshop this week!

Windsor Castle trip - we had a wonderful day learning about knights and exploring the castle!

Supertato Day - The evil King Cabbage kidknapped Princess Pepper and Rabbit Class helped to rescue her!

This week we came into class after the golden mile to find the classroom had been destroyed, we later found out that the Wild Things had visited and had a wild rumpus in our classroom! We have been exploring the text ‘Where the Wild things are’.

This week Mrs Ruckwood was very upset when a greedy dragon came and ate her cake! The children have enjoyed retelling and sequencing the story of ‘There was an old dragon who swallowed a knight’.

The weather was kind to us for Forest School this week and the children had a great time hunting for bugs, making dens, tree climbing and making homes for peg dolls.

We have been busy writing instructions this week about how to make porridge and in history we worked in groups to label a Motte and Bailey castle.

It has been lovely having all the children back after the summer holiday and they have enjoyed exploring their new classroom and making new friends. The children have voted for our new School Councillors and created our own class charter.
