Bumblebee Class 2021-2022
Welcome to Bumblebee Class.
On this page you will be able to find out what we have been doing in school. This half term our stimulus for learning is “Journeys”. We will be exploring lots of books about journeys such as The train ride, the Gruffalo and The Way Back Home. We will be doing lots of activities related to these. We are very excited to go on a school trip to the Watercress Line.
Bumblebees will have P.E. on a Tuesday afternoon this half term, Forest School on a Wednesday afternoon and will visit the library on Friday.
We also do our weekly show and tell on a Friday, please upload something that your child would like to share onto Tapestry.

Pyjamarama Day. We had a fantastic Pyjamarama Day, celebrating the importance of stories and reading to children. We designed and made our own potato hero to help rescue the fruit and vegetables from the Evil Pea.

Week 5 - Bumblebees enjoyed creating their own Chinese dragon dance
Week 4 - Around the world day 🌎
Week 3 Children in Need. We dressed up in our pyjamas to raise money for charity.
Week 2 - We used the sounds in the words to match them to the picture and explored floating and sinking of natural objects
Week 1 - arts week - we have had a brilliant week doing lots of firework art work
Week 7 - People who help us day. We had lots of fun dressed up as People who help us and created a class fire collage
Week 6 - hospitals and positional language
Week 5 - Writing a letter home and a walk to the post box.

We had a brilliant first full time week at school and enjoyed making new friends.
