Welcome to Ladybird class!

Welcome back to another term ~ our new topic is Journeys
We will be going on a bear hunt during the first couple of weeks and then off on another adventure of a Train Ride. Finally we will be heading into outer space with our favourite alien QPootle 5.
Our PE day has now changed to Thursday so please make sure your PE kit is in school for this day.

Spring Term 2017 ~ Dinosaurs
This term we will be learning all about dinosaurs so please can you now make sure you bring in something for show and tell on a Friday that is related to the topic rather than just a favourite toy.
Don't forget to keep practising your Mathletics homework which is updated every week. If you are having difficulty logging in or printing out the certificates please come in and speak to a member of staff who will be happy to help.

This week we have learnt all about Firefighters. We have even been putting out pretend fires with the hoses. We have started learning our letter sounds s,a,t and i and have really enjoyed learning the songs. We hope you enjoy looking at our second week of fun! :)

Mathletics
Soon you will have a special log in and password to visit our Mathletics page. This is where you can practise learning your numbers and counting to 10 as well as lots of other Maths activities. Until then why not try to practise your counting skills and count all the book bags, water bottles and other things you see on your way to school!
