Week beginning 27th June - We have continued with learning about caterpillars. Our caterpillars have now made their cocoons which is very exciting. Below are our own versions of The Very Hungry Caterpillar made of different fruits and also our drawings of the lifecycle of the butterfly.

Week beginning 20th June - It has been very exciting as we have had some guests! We have our very own caterpillars so we have been watching them grow and learning all about their life cycle. We have also been learning the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. See our brilliant acting skills below!

Week of 06.06.22 - It has been science, art and outdoor week at school. We have draw, painted, collaged and made a clay model of the Very Hungry Caterpillar. We have also done some very exciting science experiments including making it rain! Have a look at the pictures below.

Week of 23.05.22 - See the photos below of some of the things we have been doing this week. We have been trying the beans we have grown, turn taking, using our imagination to play and of course bug hunting!

Week of 09.05.22 - We are continuing our Growing theme this week. We have been doing lots of exciting growing activities and looking at plants. One of the activities was to pick a dandelion at the base of the stem and using its sap to write secret messages. When the sap dries the writing appears. Have a go at home!

Week of 02.05.22 - We have begun our Growing topic. We have been busy planting away this week. See the photos below of us throwing our wildflower seed bombs. Hopefully it will encourage lots of pollinators.

Week of 14th March 2022 - We have begun our learning all about migration as the birds have begun to return for the Spring. Below are some pictures of our week including bird watching, gardening and some very wet play.

Week of 28th February - It has been Book Week! We have been busy helping Crystal the giraffe get her colours back since Winnie the Witch cast a spell that went a bit wrong. Ask your child to tell you all about it.

Week of 17th January 2022 - Our interest in birds has continued. We have been discussing hibernation and the changing season so thought we'd help out our hungry bird friends with some seed. We placed it in a sand tray to look at the prints they left behind.

Week of 10th January 2022 - It has been a week of bird watching this week. We have made a hide, bird tables and put out a bird bath.

Week of 6th December 2021 - The winds picked up so we made flags and kites to fly!

Week of 15th November 2021 - Autumn fun in Foxes!

Week of 8th November 2021 - We went on a leaf hunt this week and met a rather large animal that chased us away...

Week of 1st November - We had our first fire to keep us warm as we head toward Winter. We sang songs, drank a hot drink and had a biscuit together.

Week of 4th October - It has been a busy week in Foxes as we continue to learn all about Autumn. We had a delivery of some saplings so we have been planting them in a nursery space to help them grow bigger before planting them out on the field.

Week of 20th September - It has been an exciting week in Foxes. Have a look at the photos below for some of the things we have been doing. There is some climbing, leaf rubbing, painting and leaf sewing!

Week of September 13th - We have been settling in brilliantly to Foxes! Here are some pictures of us cooking with mud, building habitats and presenting The Fox News!

Welcome to Fox Class.
