This term the driver for our learning is St Lucia. The children have been helping Scaredy Squirrel by brave, just like Piglet, as he is hoping to go and visit his animal friends in the island of St Lucia. They have been naming the oceans and continents of the world and locating the island on the world map. They will also be looking at the landscape and lifestyles of the people that live there. In Spring 2, we are hoping to visit The Living Rainforest, in Hampstead Norreys, to find out more about how the animals that live in rainforests have adapted over time to survive in their habitat. There is lot of exciting learning happening.
