This week, we have been enjoying exploring our new topic ‘Once upon a time’ and had a very sunny forest school afternoon too!

We finished our Book Week with Book Day! It was so much fun!

What an amazing Book Week we had! We met Chloe Inkpen and learnt all about how to be an author AND an illustrator!

We ended our half term with Dinosaur Day! It was so much fun creating a volcano, painting silhouette pictures and more!

We have loved wearing numbers for NSPCC’s Number Day today. We have taken part in lots of fun maths activities to complete a challenge to find out how tall Miss Spalding is!

In computing this week, we learnt how to use a drawing app to draw dinosaurs!

This week, we went outside to help our site manager Mr Lacey who had heard a commotion when he unlocked school! We found a big pile of mud and massive foot prints so we set up our iPad to video any evidence!

This week in literacy we wrote our very own dinosaur poem! We even made dinosaur headbands to get into role!

This week in science, we went on a winter walk to look at seasonal change.

Happy new year! We have had a great first week back. In history, we drew a picture of our familes.

Merry Christmas everyone! We had the most magical end to the term!

We had a brilliant day on Friday, dressing up and reprinting different countries from around the world! We went on safari, tried different fruits and made Chinese lanterns. For each country we visited, we got a stamp in our passport.

This week in Forest school, we learnt a new game! We had to cross the ‘muddy bog’ without going in the mud. It was so much fun!

This week we enjoyed raising money for Children in Need by wearing our pyjamas!

We loved Arts Week and enjoyed using the book ‘The Dot’ to express ourselves!

We really enjoyed finishing off our ‘People who help us’ topic by dressing up as people who help us and completing so many fun activties too!

This week we have been learning about builders and the jobs they do.

This week we went on a hunt to find the missing Little Princess who didn’t want to go to hospital! We found her belongings and book with lots of clues and have enjoyed learning about hospitals this week.

We enjoyed our trip to the post box!

This week we had to solve a mystery! Humpty Dumpty has fallen off the wall and we had to solve the crime. We were very lucky to have 2 police officers come in and talk to us about their important job too!

This week in went on a season walk in Science. We talked about the plants we could see and the season we are in!

What a super first week of school we have had! The children have been amazing and we are so proud of them all!
