Hedgehog Class 2024-2025
Welcome to the Hedgehog Class page.
On this page you will be able to find out what we have been learning in school each week. This term our driver is 'Castles'.
Our PE day is Friday afternoon and Forest School is on a Thursday afternoon. Please remember to name clothing and footwear for these activities. Our Library day is Wednesday.
We hope you enjoy looking at our page as much as we have enjoyed the activities we have been doing.

We had some food left in our classroom this week and we used it to talk about rationing and which food people grew in WW2.
We tested out the Beebots in computing this week.
We had a brilliant week for book week this week!
We pretended to use chalk boards just like the World War Two children in our Discovery Time.
We had a visitor this week who took on the role of someone from World War Two. We learnt a lot of interesting facts!
We enjoyed a visit from Hampshire Fire Service this week who talked to us about how important smoke alarms are.
We found a teddy left in our classroom and it had a tag on it. It led us to read the story The Station Mouse.
We had a great first week back and enjoyed building nests with sticks.
We had a great last day and even had a special visitor!
What a great day we had today for castle day!
We helped the King this week by making crowns and writing instructions.

A mysterious mouse hole was found in Hedgehog Class this week!
We had a lovely start to our half-term with Artsweek.
We had an exciting day trying to rescue Princess Pepper from King Cabbage.
We had the BEST day on our school trip to Windsor Castle today!
What an exciting week we had! Someone came into Hedgehog class and made a mess! They left behind some suspicious footprints. 👣
