Welcome to the Giraffe Class page.
On this page you will be able to find out what we have been learning in school each week. This term our driver is 'The Great Fire of London'.
Our PE day is Friday afternoon and Forest School is on a Thursday afternoon. Please remember to name clothing and footwear for these activities.
We hope you enjoy looking at our page as much as we have enjoyed the activities we have been doing.

The children had a lovely time this week exploring poetry. They found out that they could put free verse poems in different orders and they still made sense!
Giraffe class really enjoy our forest school sessions and this week was no exception. We played imaginative games and concocted recipes in the mud kitchen.
Discovery time is a fantastic and fun time when children get to choose what to do. Learning is interwoven into everything they do and they have fun when they are doing it!
This week in literacy we have been doing work based on the wonderful Billy and the Dragon book. The children were fantastic risk takers as they got into character pretending to be grumpy cats!
The children have shown great resilience this week and have settled back into school life wonderfully. Forest school gave us an opportunity to explore the grounds to see the changing seasons and to work together as a team. Well done Giraffe class!
