Rabbit Class 2025-2026
Welcome to the Rabbit Class page. Here you will find out about what we have been learning each week and when our P.E. and Forest School days are. We hope you enjoy looking at our page as much as we have enjoyed the activities that we have been doing.
This year we will have Forest School on a Wednesday each week, please ensure your child has long trousers, a long sleeved top, wellies and a coat that you don't mind getting muddy on this day. Our P.E. day and Library day will both be on a Thursday, so please ensure P.E. kits and Library bags are in school by Thursday each week. If it is easier to bring P.E. kits in on a Monday then that is fine. Thank you and if you have any questions I am happy to help at the class door.
Year 1 Curriculum Meeting
This week we have been exploring our senses in our Literacy work ready to write our own senses poem. We got creative in Forest School creating our own pictures using a fabric background and natural objects from outside.
It has been another busy week learning about how to put out a fire and then writing the instructions in our literacy this week. The children had a great time playing the Eagles nest during Forest School and then making some of their own nests.
This week we continued our learning about the Great Fire of London and sequenced the events.
We have had a wonderful first full week in our learning and enjoying a special visit from Tempus Fujit as Samuel Pepys!
